With a 100% double-glazed superstructure, the A85 is a bright open space, a jardin d’hiver on the ocean’s waves. The design of JOY STAR is in fact studied to allow the experience of multisensorial contact with the external environment, to welcome guests with the smells and sounds of the sea and to sail in total energy efficiency, with minimal use of air conditioning, low consumption rates and soundproofing.
The exclusive layout and the incredible living concept are the result of a real construction revolution: the linear design of the superstructure and the vertical line of the bow allow a better use of every single available space, with a living capacity much higher than other yachts of the same size. To get the very best out of every moment spent at sea.
Collaboration with leading partners has increased solar panel output by more than 30%, using solar panels for generating clean & renewable electricity on board. The energy stored in the on-board batteries enables the main appliances to be used in the road stead, without continuously using generators: comfort for guests, respect for nature.
Unique is the “jardin d’hiver”, created using thermal insulating double-glazing with steel or aluminium frames: the result is a lightweight boat offering a seamless sense of openness onto the world outside. The roof design also makes use of thermal insulating glass, but incorporates solar panels that capture the sunlight and convert it into energy. The windows amaze guests on board with a play of light and shadows, creating even more beautiful living areas. JOY STAR reflects a perfect, harmonious blend between the indoor and outdoor areas. Her aft deck is quite large for the ship of her size, and features a well protected cockpit, perfect for dining, as well as large sunbathing area towards the stern of the yacht.
The interior of JOY STAR features modern furniture by well known Italian design houses, such as B&B Italia and Schiffini. Forward the main saloon passed the galley there is a dining room , which opens to the wheelhouse. The dining room can be opened up with large sliding doors to the side deck. Offers 4 cabins (1 Master, 1 VIP, 1 double and 1 twin with pullman beds) for up to 8 guests, professional and friendly crew.
