The Croatian government has firmly set the deadline for the new Charter regulation to be applied starting May 1st, 2017. For charter contracts signed before the 1st of May, and with the embarkation of guests in a 3rd country (i.e. Montenegro) before coming to Croatia, the new rule for VAT payment on a pro-rata basis for the time the yacht will spend in Croatia will not apply.
